HISTORY

FOKOM was founded by Apostle Derrick Nash during the Covid Pandemic. What started as a group of believers coming together for bible study, propelled to like-minded servants of the Lord, carrying out a mission to service the community with outreach. To date Fresh Oil has succeeded in serving four specific sectors of community; homeless, seniors, youth, and citizens of the city we wanted to show appreciation to for their tireless pursuits. We have also done pop ups at local gas stations and stores to pray for the community and give out gift cards. Fresh Oil has a heart to serve and lead people to the love of Christ.

VALUES

Fresh Oil values the instruction of the Father and does not forsake His correction and reproof. Being established as an Outreach Ministry, Fresh Oil Kingdom rejoices in the opportunity to serve and connect with the community and surrounding areas. We encompass various endeavors to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people, with the goal of positively influencing and spreading the gospel.

VISION

The Vision of Fresh Oil Kingdom Outreach Ministry (FOKOM) is to produce the love of Christ for all people. The charge of the Kingdom of God is to facilitate compassion and help to those in need. FOKOM will strive to provide resources to the people without prejudice or discrimination. It is our pleasure and duty to serve, support, provide resources, spiritual guidance, and aid to those in need. Our goal is to uplift our fellow man and bring light into a dark world.

THE NAME

What does Fresh Oil Kingdom Outreach Ministry mean?
Fresh Oil: is a representation of a fresh flow of anointing pouring from God to His people. As we stay in alignment with the Father, we receive the renewed freshness of His anointing.
Kingdom: Matthew 6:10 states "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. It is our desire to encapsulate God's reign to be established on earth, mirroring the perfect order and righteousness of heaven.
Outreach: as disciples of Christ we are commissioned to serve. It is what Christ and it is what His followers should replicate. Jesus went to those in need, to serve and free them. Just as His example we go to serve the people.
